Dana began her customer service training many years ago as a waitress in her Mother's Restaurant. In high school Dana focused on the healthcare field, earning Certified Nurses Assistant prior to graduation. After high school she continued in nursing by becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1993 and continuing on to Registered Nurse in 1999. After working in healthcare many years she was seeking a change and in 2006 became a real estate salesperson. She began her real estate career at Cisler Real Estate Inc. in Staunton where she remains today. Always seeing the value in continuing to learn Dana became a Real Estate Broker in 2008 and obtained the GRI (Graduate of Realtor Institute) and AHWD (At Home With Diversity) designations.

Dana is a full time Realtor, specializing in residential sales and property management-professionally leasing property for her investor clients and homeowners who do not want to handle the day to day task of being a landlord. Dana also sells building lots, agricultural land and commercial property. She is up to date with the latest technology and incorporates this into her marketing plan.

Mrs. Allen serves as President on the Board of Directors with the Staunton Chamber of Commerce and also serves on the board of directors at her local real estate board the Greater Gateway Association of Realtors as well as the ITS Trail Committee. She has attended the Professional Standards Workshops and the National Association of Realtors Convention to stay current on real estate laws and industry standards and the latest technology; in 2010 Dana volunteered for Habitat for Humanity to assist with the rebuilding of homes in New Orleans after the devastating hurricane. She is a member of the St. Clair Toastmasters Club.

Looking For A Home Of Your Own?

  • I will work at your pace; we can view the homes one at a time or pick a day and view up to 6 in a row!
  • Once you have found the home that is right for you I will assist you in determining the value and negotiating a sales price with the seller by researching comparable sales.
  • Once you have a sales contract on your new home, there are inspections available, appraisals, title searches, and more that we will schedule; I will work within the deadlines of the contract to make sure that all inspections are done in a timely manner.
